As soon as our local dealer gets one in, which seems difficult to determine right now.

Getting the pioneer 520 in order to have the 50" width and limited garage space. Otherwise would be considering 700 or even 1000. Will be using mostly in local area on "35 mph" roads where they are now legal with some restrictions.

Puzzled why Honda does not have an easy search method on their website for finding current stock of 2022 or 2023 Pioneer 500/520. Other MFG make this very easy in comparison.

Have some questions, but will save those for later.

I agree, it would be nice if Honda could post where there equipment is.
But, every dealer is their own entity, and sell Honda.
No different then fighting car dealers.
If you want what you want, you will have to do the legwork.
Surf as many dealer websites as you can find in you area.
And then widen your search area.

Some new Honda owners drive hundreds of miles.
I did an 8 hour round trip to get "Wild Blue" in Oct2021, a used 2018 1000-3.

Thanks for the advice regarding Honda powersports, but actually it is very different than car dealers. If I go onto a GM site and build an order it will list all the stock within whatever miles I choose, and how close a match the available inventory is to the options I chose.

I was actually referring to the Mom and Pop dealers in smaller towns. Not many of them around anymore. I guess my age is showing a little. Hahaha
