Just took delivery of the new Pio today. Went over it with a fine tooth comb. The only small issue I can see is that when traveling the steering wheel is not aligned. Like turned a quarter turn or better to the left when tracking straight.

Im guessing just an alignment issue.

Any thoughts. Id swing by the dealer tomorrow and get it addressed, but, we are in for a predicted solid inch of snow and South Louisiana in its entirety is pretty much shut down. lol

Do the wheels look straight (aligned)just the steering wheel off? If so I would guess they just got it off a tooth (spline) when installing it. Should be an easy fix, just pull it off and reinstall correctly.

its just the steering wheel wasn't put on in line no big deal they should be able to fix in a couple mins or you could just like a vehicle steering wheel

Thanks for the insight, I figured as much, just wanted to toss it out there before I go to tinkering with a brand new machine that dont even have the burnt smell off the muffler. LOL

Of course, I already did can the nets. That was the first thing to go.

I use them for storage but that's just the back 2. my steering wheel is the same way I haven't even tried to fix it yet. it just seems more right of a feel to me cause I drive with my left hand alot

My wheel is off to the left to. Never even considered fixing it. I'd imagine it will be off to the left a little in the junk yard some day. :)

Before you start pulling wheels you need to determine if it's the wheel off, or if the rack is off.

With the steering wheel at the center position when driving ( NOT centered by the actual steering wheel ), mark or note the 12 o-clock position on the wheel and rotate the wheel one way or the other to full lock and count the number of turns ( last one will probably be like 1/4 turn or something ) using the mark.

Return to center, and count the number turning the other way. If they match, then the steering wheel needs to be pulled and adjusted, if not, the tie rods need to be adjusted, otherwise you'll be able to turn sharper one way than the other...though i doubt anyone would actually notice.

If you've already pulled the wheel and corrected, don't sweat it too much...like i said, i doubt you'd ever notice the differences in turning radius.

The steering is slow enough on these that i don't know if its worth worrying about: The steering is seldom at center for very long anyway.

I was wondering about the alignment on mine also so I checked it the way we do on race cars with a straight edge and offsets. It was 1/16 in toe out which should be perfect for these vehicles.

The steering wheel is a little off center but I don't really care about that.
