While i still havent driven the ranger 570 to compare, i,m pretty impressed w the pioneer. My 3 reservations at this point remain the same. I ride on 5000 acres of cattle ranch in florida and the ground is often wet and there is a great deal of cow crap everywhere. With the lack of fender flares i may have cow crap and juice all over me from what ive read. My rancher has excellent wheel coverage to protect against this.

Second, no turf mode. Others on the property lack this feature too and it sure makes a mess of the camping, manicured areas

Last, more comfortable with noise but plain and simple, these ss just are not quiet as compared to the rancher atv with manual shift.

I guess everything is a tradeoff, just need to decide...

I agree with the locked in rear differential. Honda missed this one. Second guessing my purchase because it will tear your yard up. I may try some turf tires first. I really do not want a Belt driven machine.

Well, if you take a corner fast enough, you can probably get one back tire off the ground. Then the only concern would be not tearing up the yard from going so fast....

Or do a big red rear end swap. Best of both worlds.

Driving both the BigRed and Pioneer I tore up less with the pioneer when turning sharp. With the BR when accelerated that one tire would spin tearing up stuff, the Pioneer just goes. Very slow and easy on the throttle turns the BR does win though.

Electric

a electric golf cart would take care of all the "problems" the pioneer has for you rdfish1 ...lol

You nailed this ine but...we have deep creeks and the electrics on te property have failed regularly. I love the electric if not for water

Silicone the boards. Make sure dielectric grease all the plugs and coat the battery leads and any exposed wires. Motor snorkel if motor is vented and electric will go anywhere including deeper than you can go lol
