Hey guys, Im about to pick up a winch for the beast and don't want to blow the bank on it. I was looking at the SuperAtv 3500lb winch with synthetic cable and remote and was wondering if anyone has seen these is use. I like the fact that it has synthetic line and a remote but am wondering about dependability. Im not the kind of wheeler who will be making numerous mud runs but will use it hunting and such from time to time. Any feedback would be great.

PS if anyone has any other ideas for winches in the $200-$300 range send me your preferences.

I haven't tried the SATV winches yet. I'm using viper max winches on all of my machines at the moment. I have had good luck with them and if there ever is a problem they fix it fast (great customer service). My 4000# winch is well over 5 yrs old and still pulling strong. I have went through some contactors and switches but that is expected where I ride (lots of water).

Orgyboy did you find out what all was included with the 4500#? I wish it had of been on sale when I bought mine.
With the mounting plate it is actually a fun easy install.

This weekend I am going to put dielectric grease in all the electrical connections to waterproof them. Not sure how fun that will be.
