Can the 700-4 tail gate be open with bed extender installed when the rear bed seats are open and occupants in them?

if you have the bed extender in you have to open the tailgate and flip it over before you can put the rear seats up.

Here is a photo of it installed. Looks like it is clear of the seat latches, so I would say yes.

Thanks. With 4 occupants I was hoping the area between the extender and the rear seat could be used for carrying some gear like day packs. Looks like it would work.

A large cooler, tote or any box would be another option and keep the elements off of the gear. Could just be simply strapped in.

Not sure how that extender is gonna fit unless we get longer tailgate cables. It would be at a 30 degree angle on my tailgate.

my tailgate sits almost flat with the bed. the Honda salemans said a moderate 40qt fits between with room im waiting on mine to come in. if not this works great
