Finally, a mere 63 days after ordering it, my ProVantage 4500-s has arrived and been installed on a KFI winch mount.

I had the rocker switch mounted in the accessory panel, to keep from cutting any more holes in the dash. I will probably have them flip the location to make it the the closest switch to the driver the next time I am in there.

The remote plug is mounted in the glove box.

Glad it finally got here now that duck season is almost over .......

The place that I ordered mine from neglected to tell me they were out stock, and only after I started calling every week did they confess. I was highly irritated, and shared that on regular occasions as each promised ship date passed with no winch. Grrrrrrr.

Pound ore by hand and melting it to pour with wet matches takes some time.

Dealer installed, charged me $200. I would have broke that much stuff trying it myself. I have played with it, but not buried it in mud and recovered, YET.

Doc, that's the Honda Auxiliary Panel it mounts in the little open cubby above the glove box.

Where did you get your switches from? Is there certain ones you have to buy to work with the honda switch plate/volt meter/wire harness?

the same style switchs can be found here, I dont think they are plug and play though, you may need to juggle some wires around.

Great idea of putting that winch outlet in the glove box. Nice and handy right by the control when you need it.

I got my provantage 4500 through amazon in a little over a week.

I really like that fairlead, but have not seen one like it before. Where did you get that?

That Fairlead is for synthetic rope. Can't use them for cable.
