Last night as i was looking over the Pioneer gettinng to know it better, i noticed the clear airbiox drain nipple was filled with water. I suspect it was because i was riding in powdery snow and the intake was sucking the snow in. I had maybe 1/8 cup in it after 13 miles of snow covered roads.
Seeinng what some of you have been doing you may want to check your as well.

Not sure about the snow thing but I used to put panty hose over my intake on my rancher on dusty trail. Maybe it be enough to slow your snow intake.
