I have a set of Maxxis bighorns 2.0 coming in middle of next week. They are 28". I will post here to let you know after I install them. From all my measuring, they "should" fit. :)

The 27's I ran only rubbed a little when turning and the suspension was compressed hard. I don't know how well the pic will show but you can see the inner plastic piece sticking out and that is what rubbed. It was more or less just a noise and cleaned the plastic.

Going straight, no problems

Toodeep,

Your photos make me happy that I picked that rim (Cept in black). That rim looks awesome.

Was your wheel cranked all the way when it rubbed the plastic?

Seriously? I contacted Maxxis and they assured me that their posted measurements on tires are "exact specification ". Sigh......

Here are the numbers that the person at Maxxis directed me to on the 2.0. Looks like the smaller tires can run a little big, but 28" is supposed to be true to size

Actual sizes can be found under the specifications tab on the page.
