WHat winches are the best and marry up to the KFI winch mount. I have been looking at the Warn Vantage 4000 with synthetic rope and the KFI 4500 with the synthetic rope. Any suggestions or knowledge on whether the two are good winches or give me some other suggestions.

I was in your shoes a couple of weeks ago. I went for the KFI mount and the Warn Vantage 4000. They go together great and the only hard part is drilling a hole in your new machine!

Curious as why you went with the Warn over the KFI? I'm in a similar boat.

I went with a provantage 4500 because it had a $50 rebate.

I chose Honda due to its reliability and I wanted a winch that would stand up as well (not taking anything away from KFI). To answer your question I chose Warn for the piece of mind.

Warn would have been my first choice due to the name, but a little reading showed that's not the case anymore.

I picked a Superwinch terra 45 up for what I felt was an awesome price- roughly half of the Chinese Warn's, and its been excellent. It also has great reviews everywhere I looked.

the KFI is a great winch (atleast the 2500lb we had on a 2012 foreman 500 ) for a great price and there over the phone service is top notch also

The only downside is the KFI has a LIMITED 1 year warranty. Although, in other customer reviews of KFI has also commended their phone customer service, so I am torn. I had a viper on my Brute Force as well. I think I am more than likely going to go through warn for the pure warranty alone.
