What kind of ideas are there for mounting a 30" light bar up top below the roof...without having to cut the hard top???

Welcome to the forum. Are you using a windshield on your machine? You could use a couple quick clamps from Honda to mount to the roll bar and then just some flat steel to come out and mount the light to the flat steel. You should be able to mold it to fit with any of the acc you might have.

I have a similar issue. Originally had the 30" bar mounted to a couple of aluminum collars on the roll bar, then added the roof. I also have a windshield and I am at the point where the light bar doesnt work with the roof and windshield on. Really want to avoid having the bar on top of the roof because it is not protected from branches and other obstructions up there.

Was thinking about making some aluminum mounts to put it just in front of the windshield but haven't gotten that far yet.

That light bar above is actually mounted on my 4 wheeler. It was just setting on the Pioneer for a photo op. I haven't taken any night pictures (I think Dick has posted a few with a slightly larger light bar) but they are awesome.
